I don’t do contests very often but every once in awhile, I bite. I felt like this one had the potential to be really fun since it gave me an excuse to design a Big Foot character.
The original mascot for PowerMax looked like the guy above. In order to tone it down a bit and have it reflect the website otherwise fun-natured attitude to sales, I wanted to try and give him a laid back West Coast vibe.
In the end, I didn’t win. Oh well, guess you can’t win them all…

Ha ha! Cute (I guess a Bigfoot can be cute, eh?) I actually like yours better than the winner. I’m a little taken aback by one contest entry that appears to have totally ripped yours off, though… (not hard to figure out).
